First of all, Happy Pi Day!
Secondly: Okay so I'm going to the San Diego Comic Con in July, and I'm not sure if any of my friends are going with me. The four-day passes are all sold out, so it would be really expensive to do all four days now. I'm just wondering: Are there any other deviants who will be there? I would really love to just meet up with someone and be able to wander around with them. It'd be pretty lame otherwise.
I'll be staying at my aunt and uncle's (very nice) house, so if you're cool enough and I get to know you online in the next four months, then you could stay there too, maybe!

I've accidentally gotten into photography quite a bit recently. I never really was into it; the fact that anyone at all could pick up a camera and shoot a wonderful picture always kept me thinking that there's almost no talent to it. But ever since I bought my fairly nice Fuji camera, and experimented with it, I sort of changed my mind. There are so many components to a good photo, I think I'm really starting to understand what it's about. I still love drawing and painting, but photography is just a lot simpler, really. It's so easy to get frusterated while trying to draw something, and getting all the right materials...but for me, photography is a fantastic excuse to go out and do something fun and take great photos while I'm doing it. It's a way to get out of being depressed. A wonderful, artistic, simple-ish hobby.
I'm rambling. Basically I'm saying, I'm going to be uploading more photos. You can also look at them on my flickr, where I mass upload them (at least compared to dA.) Go lookit!

Wow, so it's been...five months since I last updated my journal? That's a pretty long time.

Stuff that's been going on!

I sort of dropped out of/failed high school. It's a long story and I'm not proud of it. I blame it on depression. I'm going to get a GED when I turn 19, and then go on to get either my art degree or my AA degree, or both.

I have an apartment now! I'm also working about 30 hours a week, which is awesome. I live with my boyfriend, by brother, two cats, and my bird.

I WANT TO DO COMMISSIONS FOR YOU. I'm charging 5 bucks a pop, whether it's watercolor or a sketch. I really need money, and this is good practice! Come on, let me whore out my artz to yous.

And finally, I need to make a new header (and footer) for my journal. D:
